WHY? The idea for a free clinic began last spring when several members of a local Sunday school class were inspired by Dr. Tom Kim, founder of the Free Medical Clinic of America located in Knoxville. Dr. Kim's dedication to provide free quality care for those without medical insurance prompted the members into action. After several months of planning, recruiting, training, and hard labor the dream of a free medical clinic in Oak Ridge is about to come to true.
